Purse Stolen From Unlocked Vehicle

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Saturday, May 9, 2015 at approximately 1:41 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a ladies purse stolen from a vehicle on Toronto St., S., Markdale in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

The suspect fled on foot towards the water tower in Markdale after he was observed entering and taking the purse from a Pontiac Montana van parked in the rear parking lot of the Grey Gables Nursing Home on Toronto St., S. The suspect was described as male, 50-55 years of age, with short grey hair, approximately 6’ tall, wearing a grey coloured t-shirt and blue jeans.
