DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(South Glengarry) – On May13, 2015 at approximately 12:08pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Concession Road 2, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his Common-Law spouse resulted in the female being assaulted and threatened. Further information also revealed another assault incident from earlier in the month.
The 30-year-old male was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault – Spousal (2 counts)
– Utter Threats – Damage Property
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on June 10, 2015.
DAMAGE TO BUILDING
(South Glengarry) – On May 12, 2015 at approximately 8:53am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of damage to a commercial building on 80th Avenue, South Glengarry Township (Creg Quay Marina). Investigation indicated that overnight (May 11-12, 2015) culprit(s) threw a bottle through a window. Entry was not gained.
An investigation continues.
