(North Dundas) – On July 16, 2015 at approximately 4:16pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a Traffic complaint on Bailey Road, North Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Anthony HOLMES (42) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 4, 2015.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
(South Stormont) – Overnight (July 15-July 16, 2015), several unattended vehicles were entered at properties on St.Lawrence Street, South Stormont Township. The vehicles were not damaged and one vehicle had a GPS (Tom Tom) unit removed.
Investigations continue.
THEFT OF BOAT
(South Glengarry) – On July 16, 2015 at approximately 7:04pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of a Boat from a property on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (July 12-15, 2015), a Green Duck Boat and a Plastic gas tank were taken.
An Investigation continues.
BREAK IN
(South Stormont) – On July 16, 2015 at approximately 3:42pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break-in at a camper on St.Lawrence Street, South Stormont Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime between 11:00pm on July 15, 2015 – 3:30am on July 16, 2015 culprit(s) forcibly entered the camper and removed 1 Stereo and 1 television.
An investigation continues.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS
(North Glengarry) – On July 16, 2015 at approximately 6:22pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Main Street, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his girlfriend resulted in the male assaulting the female. Investigation indicated an adult male was also in contravention of previous release conditions (Keep the Peace and Be of Good Behaviour).
The 21-year-old male from North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault x 3
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
The names of the accused persons in the above incidents are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.

Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his girlfriend resulted in the male assaulting the female. Investigation indicated an adult male was also in contravention of previous release conditions.
The 34-year-old male from North Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
