Stolen Property Recovered – Geoffrey John STAFFORD Charged

(CAMPBELLFORD, ON) –On August 23, 2016 the Northumberland detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an investigation relating to the recovery of stolen property. As a result of the investigation, Geoffrey John STAFFORD age 38 of Campbellford, ON has been charged. He was subsequently released with a court date in September 2016.

Excerpt from ‘Weekly News Brief’ dated August 26, 2016:

Aug 23:

– A 38 yr old Campbellford man was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation. A large quantity of suspected stolen property was recovered and police are in the process of attempting to identify the owners. The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Investigators are now attempting to identify the owners of the seized property. It is believed that most of the recovered property originates from crimes committed in the Kingston, Ontario area. The partial list includes the following:

TREK, KONA and GARY FISHER cross country/mountain bikes

Several high end bicycle tires and rims

OAKLEY, LOUIS V, RALPH LAUREN, RAY BAN sunglasses

PRADO MILANO glasses

SCOTT, OAKLEY, BOLLE and GORDINI ski goggles

Ski, golf and hockey equipment

LAMAR MISSION and BURTON snow boards

POWELL PERALTA skateboard

Electronics incl. stereos, laptops, printers and Apple iPad

KING CANADA jig saw, RIDGID brad nailer

Jewellery and a small Garrison home safe

Pink Samsung child’s camera possibly belonging to a “Alicia’
