(Champlain, ON) On October 19th, at approximately 3:30 pm, Sergeant Adrien Joly of the Hawkesbury OPP detachment intercepted a 2008 Chrysler 300 that was speeding on Highway 417 in the Champlain Township.
The contact with the driver and subsequent investigation revealed that the driver was suspended from driving and that he was contravening a probation order from the Provincial Offences Act Court.
Wakubela Didier KABALU (27 yrs) of Ottawa was charged with the following Highway Traffic Act offences:
– Section 128 Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit
– Section 53(1) Driving while under suspension
He was also charged under the Provincial Offences Act with section 75 – Breach of Probation order
He is to appear at the court in L’Orignal on November 14th.
