(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON.) The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 19 year old Sioux Lookout resident after a rash of vehicle break-ins in the Queen Street area.
During the evening of October 29th, officers responded to a report from a citizen who observed the accused rummaging through one of their neighbors vehicles. Officers quickly responded to the complaint and located the subject.
The subsequent investigation revealed that several vehicles had been entered and property removed from some of them.
Ryan JACOB has been charged with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime, and breach of probation,
JACOB remains in custody at this time, and will appear in Sioux Lookout Bail Court on October 31st.
The Sioux Lookout OPP would like to remind all residents to lock their vehicles at night, and to not leave any money or valuable property in your vehicle.
