(BLANDFORD BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 2 near Muir Line in Blandford Blenheim Township. The collision occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m. on June 29, 2015.
OPP attended and located both the female driver and a male passenger of the Chevy Silverado pickup truck. Minor injuries were reported. The female driver produced identification to police which was later determined to be stolen from Waterloo Region. Police further recovered stolen tools from Montreal in the vehicle and both parties were arrested and charged with several offences.
Taylor DILLON, 21 year old female of Cambridge is charged with the following:
Obstruct Peace Officer
Personation with attempt to avoid arrest
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000 (2 counts)
Shawn EMMERSON, 44 year old male of Kitchener is charged with the following:
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000
Both accused were held for bail hearings.
