(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) Officers from the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have closed Highway 26 between Horseshoe Valley Road and Fralick Road in relation to a crash in that area.
At approximately 8:30am this morning, OPP received a call for service in regards to a two vehicle crash where one driver was trapped in a vehicle. Clearview Fire Department attended as well and extricated the driver who was subsequently air lifted to a Toronto area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Highway 26 will remain closed in that area, in both directions, as police are conducting their investigation.
