(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently on scene of a single motor vehicle collision that occurred east of Bluevale early this morning.
At approximately 7:10 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services and North Huron Fire Department personnel responded to the collision scene located on Harriston Road (County Road #87 just east of C Line Road.
The driver of an eastbound sedan left the roadway on the south side of the road, his vehicle rolled and came to rest in the south ditch.
The lone occupant, male driver was transported from the scene by land ambulance to a local hospital. He has since been transported by air ambulance to hospital in London with life-threatening injuries.
Members from the West Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Team will be attending the scene to assist with the collision investigation.
Harriston Road (County Road #87) is now closed between Amberley Road (County #86) to the west and Kieffer Line to the east.
