Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Drug Enforcement executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on April 29th, 2016 at a private residence located on Smith Street in Port Stanley, Central Elgin.
As a result of the investigation culminating in the search, police seized a quantity of Heroin, Cocaine, LSD, Marihuana and Marihuana resin. Two prohibited weapons; a conducted energy weapon and brass knuckles were also located and seized during the search.
Police have charged two adults in connection with the seizures.
Levi ADAMS, age 23 of Port Stanley ON was arrested without incident and has been charged with;
1. Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
2. Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Resin contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
3. Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Resin contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
4. Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Heroin contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
5. Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Heroin contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
6. Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
7. Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
8. Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking LSD contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
9. Two counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code.
ADAMS was held for a bail hearing on the 30th of April 2016 in St. Thomas Criminal Court.
Alanna DUNN, age 22 of Port Stanley ON was arrested without incident and has been charged with;
1. Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
DUNN is scheduled to appear in St. Thomas Criminal Court on 16th of May, 2016.
