(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment and the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a Queen St East, Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Thursday September 04th, 2014 during the mid – morning hours Police attended the Queen St address and executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant and while conducting the search officers located and seized a quantity of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Hydromorphone Contin, Oxycontin and Cannabis Marihuana. Officers also seized drug trafficking related paraphernalia.
As a result, 35 year old Michael LOVEGROVE of Haldimand County, ON has been charged with 4 counts of Possession of an illegal substance for the purpose of trafficking, 1 count of Possession of an illegal substance and 1 count of Fail to comply with a Recognizance. Also charged is 23 year old Shelby URQUHART of Haldimand County, ON with 1 count each of Possession of an illegal substance and 1 count of Possession of an illegal substance for the purpose of trafficking. Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
