(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently on the scene of a single motor vehicle crash on Highway 401 in the City of London, Ontario.
A transport truck travelling on the Veteran’s Memorial Parkway east bound on ramp rolled over on the ramp, spilling a load of scrap metal.
The male driver suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
Middlesex County OPP has temporarily closed the Veteran’s Memorial Parkway east bound on-ramp, and two of the Highway 401 east bound driving lanes in the area, for clean-up of scrap metal debris and diesel fuel.
Motorists are urged to use patience and/or find an alternative driving route, as the lanes are expected to be closed for approximately 2 hours.
