(Township of Centre Wellington, ON) – On Saturday August 23, 2013 at approximately 8:20am Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation on County Road 18 just east of County Road 29 in the Twp of Centre Wellington. Police spoke with the male driver of the Chevy Silverado and discovered that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Scott Kieswetter aged 45 of Conestogo has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on September 17, 2013 to answer to the charge.
