Scott BOORMAN – Over 80

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On October 28, 2016, at approximately 12:39 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a single motor vehicle stopped in the northbound lane of Westchester Bourne, near Hamilton Road.

The 40-year-old male driver was medically assessed by the Middlesex London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and released at the scene. Officers determined that the male had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing, which revealed that he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, Scott BOORMAN, from London, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), and care or control over 80 milligrams, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 5, 2016.
