(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On February 8, 2014 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)Traffic Management Unit (TMU) set up a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington Road 39 near Wellington Road 30, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driving a 2007 Chevrolet was spoken with and he showed signs of alcohol consumption. A test was performed with a Road Side Screening Device which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
S. Tyler DELONG age 30 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 4, 2014 to answer to the charge.
