(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) started an investigation in September of this year relating to a complaint against a Peterborough area roofing company.
As a result of the investigation Randy DAVIS, 55 years of age, of Peterborough has been charged with Fraud Under $5000 contrary to section 380(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Breach of a Recognizance contrary to section 811 of the CCC.
The accused at the time was operating a company called Canadian Contracting. Anybody that has dealt with this company and feels they may be a victim of fraud is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP at (705) 324-6741 or toll free at 1-888-310-1122.
