(Selwyn Township ON) – On Sunday October 12, 2014, at approximately 3 p.m.. officers from the Peterborough County OPP manning a RIDE program had occasion to stop a motorist on Youngs Point Road.
Officers at the RIDE stopped a Hyundai Elantra being operated by 50 year old Julie SEMPLE of Alberta. The driver was investigated at this time.
As a result of the investigation SEMPLE was arrested and charged with, Impaired Operation and Having Over 80mgs of Alcohol in her blood.
SEMPLE was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on November 20, 2014.
