(FOREST, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, on August 21, 2014 around 10:00 p.m., were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) program on Main Street.
During this R.I.D.E. program, a male driver of a GMC vehicle was stopped by Lambton OPP officers. A subsequent investigation and breath tests resulted in a charge of Driving over the Legal Limit.
The driver, Richard VERMEIREN, 33 years of age from Warwick Township, ON has a Sarnia court date of September 15, 2014 to answer to the charge.
