(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 4, 2015 at approximately 2:46 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were on patrol and stopped a 2004 Pontiac on Highway 6, north of Wellington Road 30, Guelph-Eramosa Township. Police spoke with the male driver who showed signs of alcohol consumption.
A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Richard FRANK age 53 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 28, 2015 to answer to the charge.
