Repeat Offender Arrested In Blyth – Name Released

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have taken a female into custody after she was found out past her court imposed curfew early this morning. At approximately 12:24 a.m. a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck entered into a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint located on Queen Street in Blyth. While speaking with the driver one of the officers recognized the female passenger in the vehicle as someone that was currently serving a probation sentence.

A quick roadside check revealed the passenger was in fact currently bound by an 11:30 p.m. curfew. As a result the female passenger was placed under arrest and taken into custody. 26-year-old Catherine CORR, from Exeter has been charged with three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order. She remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for today at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
