(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man with several criminal offences. The charges stem from an investigation into a person forcibly entering a residence located on McCamus Avenue in Kirkland Lake. Once entry was gained the suspect stole a flat screen television and assaulted the victim.
Charged is Ryan DUFOUR, age 34 of Kirkland Lake, with Break Enter a Place and Commit an Indictable Offence, Assault with a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Probation Order. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on December 29, 2016.
The accused has been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
