(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit has arrested and charged Rene GROULX, a 19 year old male from Orillia, in relation to multiple complaints of vandalism over the past week.
The incidents took place in the area of Laclie Street, in the City of Orillia. The property damage consisted of vehicle, business and residential windows being broken.
On October 30th at approximately 09:45 pm the Orillia Street Crime Unit observed a male in the area of Colborne Street and West Street South in contravention of the Liquor Licence Act. While arresting the male, officer’s located a concealed pellet handgun.
Investigation has led to Rene GROULX of Orillia being charged with several offences.

Failing to Comply with Probation Order
Mischief under $5000 X 11
GROULX has been held for a Bail Hearing and will appear in Barrie Court on November 1st, 2013.
