(Selwyn Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to assist a male who was robbed and assaulted at gunpoint yesterday just before 11:00am.
The victim was driving a Progressive Waste Management Recycle truck on his regular route on Lindsay Road when he was confronted by two males. Suspects pointed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet, cellphone and keys. The victim was struck in the head just before suspects fled in a vehicle.

Long scraggly blonde hair
Scruffy beard or unshaven
Black coat
Very dirty black jeans
Second Suspect Decription:
Black male
Medium length curly hair
Goatee style beard
Black bomber style jacket
Vehicle Description:
Black Pontiac Grand Prix
Licence plate was white with red lettering
