Rash Of Break And Enters In Guelph

-On November 11, 2016 at 8:37 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Summerfield Drive residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the back yard shed sometime overnight and stole a bike and trailer.

-On November 11, 2016 at 10:08 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Paul Avenue building to investigate a break and enter. A resident heard the laundry machine running after the 10 p.m. cutoff time and went to see who was doing laundry. An unknown male was in the room and fled out the back door. The laundry machine coin dispenser was damaged but no theft occurred.

The man is described as white, in his thirties, approximately 5’8”, slender build with thin black hair. He was wearing a black hoodie.

-On November 11, 2016 at 11:53 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Vaughan Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the home through the unlocked front door while the residents were home. A theft is reported.

-On November 13, 2016 at 10:13 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Niska Road residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the unlocked front door and stole two pair of Nike shoes sometime overnight.

-On November 12, 2016 at 2:31 p.m., the Guelph Police went to an Eramosa Road residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the basement apartment through an unlocked window. It is unknown at this time if a theft occurred.
