(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On December 30, 2016 at 9:28 p.m., members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a restaurant on Bowes Street after receiving a report of a female being threatened.
Police arrived on scene and learned that a male, who was not known to the female, had threatened her and then left the scene on foot. The male was located a short time later.
As a result of the investigation;
Randy BROCK, 29 years of age from Parry Sound was arrested and charged with;
Utter Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
Fail To Comply With Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on January 19, 2017 to answer to his charges.
