(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers continue to investigate the theft of two snowmobiles that were stolen from a farm property located on London Road just north of Wingham.
Sometime through the night of December 29th and into the morning of December 30th two thieves entered onto the property and located two snowmobiles parked outside. The thieves were able to by-pass the ignition and successfully start up the machines without the ignition keys. Both sleds were then driven off the property through the fields heading west toward Glenannon Road.
The stolen snowmobiles are described as follows:
A white 1997 Polaris XC 440cc, with a single seat valued at $1500.
A red 1997 Yamaha Vmax 700cc, with a single seat valued at $2500.
