On August 15th, 2014 at 10:44pm an officer located a stolen car at a south-end motel. The officer was investigating three parties associated to the car when one of them ran away. Police learned this 37 year old man of no fixed address was the driver of the stolen car. Police checked the area but did not locate him.
On August 16th, 2014 at 8:12pm Police were on patrol downtown and located this male in the back of a taxi. He was arrested for possessing the stolen car the day before. During the arrest, Police located a syringe loaded with suspected Heroin in the accused pocket. The man was also breaching his probation order. He was charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Heroin and Failing to Comply with Probation. He was held for bail.
