(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On January 26, 2016, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter incident.
Between approximately 1:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on January 26, 2016, culprit(s) attended a rural property in the 1500 block of Cromarty Drive. Once on the property, they trespassed, and damaged a door, gaining access to the interior of the residence.
Gift cards, and Canadian and American currency were stolen.
Do all of your exterior doors have a deadbolt with at least a one-inch throw? Criminals with tools can easily defeat conventional key in the knob locks. Deadbolts should be installed on all exterior doors.
