(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Central Drug Enforcement Unit and Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) with the assistance of members of the OPP Canine Unit, Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP Street Crimes unit and front line members of the Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP executed a search warrant at a residence in Collingwood.
On evening of the 26 of January 2016, officers attended a residence on Dawson Drive in Collingwood and executed a search warrant. As a result of this search, officers seized approximately 4.5 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marihuana and $1,400 in cash. The warrant also led to the arrest of 3 people who were transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged are: 51 year-old Gregory ALLISON of Collingwood, he is facing charges of
possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of
trafficking and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
20 year-old Daveion BROWN of Brampton, he is facing charges of
possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of
trafficking, possession of marihuana under 30 grams and possession of
property obtained by crime under $5000.
24 year-old Marlon BROWN of Guelph, he is facing charges of
possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of
trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
They were all held for bail this morning at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie Ontario.
