(ORILLIA, ON) The Orillia O.P.P. (Ontario Provincial Police) are seeking the assistance of the public in solving an assault that occurred on the Lightfoot Trail in Orillia.
The assault took place at approximately 11:00 a.m. on August 27, 2013. An adult female was on the Lightfoot Trail in the area of Hughes Road when an unknown male approached her and took hold of her arm wanting to take her picture. The female pulled away from the male and left the area unharmed.
The male is described as 60-65 years old, 6’ tall with a medium build. He has green eyes and grey hair and was well groomed. The male was last seen wearing a turquoise dress shirt, khaki shorts and beige sandals. The male was carrying a silver camera with a telescopic lens and a black sac.
A composite sketch of the suspect has been completed.
