(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON)- On Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 2:29 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and local Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision on Longwood’s Road at Cashmere Road in Southwest Middlesex.
Police have confirmed that a W/B motor vehicle collided with an E/B pickup truck. The male driver of the pickup was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The female driver died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The female has been identified as Constance KING, age 78 of Chatham TWP, ON.
Police closed a section of Longwood’s Road four approximately five hours as members of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) assisted in the investigation. The investigation is on-going at this time.
