(ESSEX, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are on the scene of a four vehicle collision on the west bound lane of the E.C. Row Expressway that sent two people to the hospital and has currently closed the highway.
At approximately 2:12 pm this date, police were dispatched to the collision on the Matchette Road over pass on E.C.Row. At this time it appears that the collision is a result of a chain reaction involving all four vehicles. The two people, one being a 2 year old child were taken to area hospitals with non life threatening injuries. Police anticipate the road will be closed until sometime after 4:00 pm.
The collision is still under investigation and charges are pending.
