(North Stormont) – On October 11, 2014 at approximately 12:36am, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle on Lafleur Road, North Stormont Township. The stop revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Larry SHEP (60) of North Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired
– Driving with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Driver-Fail to Properly Wear Seat Belt (Highway Traffic Act)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
(South Dundas) – On October 11, 2014 at approximately 11:28pm, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. The stop revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol. Further information indicated that the male was in breach of a condition imposed from a previous incident.
Kamal NAGLA (33) of Etobicoke, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired
– Driving with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
– Fail to Move into Another Lane for Emergency Vehicle (Highway Traffic Act)
– Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor (Liquor Licence Act)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on October 28, 2014.
