(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Windham Road 19, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, October 13, 2014 at approximately 9:09 a.m., Norfolk County OPP, Norfolk County Fire Services and Paramedics responded to a two vehicle collision.
Investigation has determined that a Black Dodge van was travelling eastbound on Windham Road 7 and a Red Subaru motor vehicle was travelling north bound on Windham Road 19 when both vehicles collided.
Norfolk County Fire Services extricated a 75 year old female from one of the vehicles and was subsequently transported by paramedics to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged a 20 year old female.
Charged with the following offences is 20 year old Gabriella AUGUSTINE of Fort Erie, Ontario.
Driving over the legal limit
Take motor vehicle without consent
Drive motor vehicle – no licence
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
