(BLANDFORD BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a robbery of a convenience store located in Princeton.
Oxford OPP responded to the call around 9:20 p.m. on October 8, 2014 where an unknown male entered the Princeton Variety store and brandished a hammer to the male employee. The suspect demanded cash, then after a brief altercation with the employee, fled the store.
The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches in height, approximately 200 pounds, wearing black pants, a black jacket, and having his face covered.
The OPP West Region Identification Unit, West Region Canine Unit along with members from West Region Emergency Response Team, also attended the scene to assist in the investigation. There were no reported injuries during the robbery. The Oxford OPP investigation continues.
