(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On October 8, 2014 at approximately 3:50 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on patrol in the Town of Palmerston. Police observed a 2001 Honda and initiated a traffic stop on Prospect Street. During the investigation, it was determined that the licence of the driver was under suspension and he was arrested. During the search of the driver, the officer located suspected methamphetamine.
Damien VANCE age 31of Palmerston has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 21, 2014 to answer to the charge.
