POLICE ASKING FOR PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE

(TECUMSEH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hoping the public can assist in identifying a male who smashed a window at a Tecumseh business and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On January 19, 2014 at 5:50 a.m., the unknown suspect attended the Naples Pizza Restaurant in the 12000 block of Tecumseh Road in the Town of Tecumseh and proceeded to smash the front window and enter the restaurant. From there, he forced open the cash register and stole cash.

Police are searching for a male seen in the attached photos, wearing a very distinct jacket with fur around the hood, jeans, and black mechanic’s gloves with grey leather palms and dark coloured skater shoes with white laces.

In a similar incident on January 4, 2014, a business in the 100 block of Lesperance Road in Tecumseh had a brick thrown through the window and entry was gained into the business. Again, an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register. In this incident, no descriptors on the suspect are available.
