(BLANDFORD BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 27, 2014 Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break enter and theft at Hillside Kennels (Animal Control) located on Township Road 6 in Blandford Blenheim Township. The theft occurred between 2:30 p.m. on December 26, 2014 and 9:00 a.m. on December 27, 2014. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the business by prying open the main door of the locked business.
The office area was targeted and a Sony Vaio laptop, a Brother copier, and a small amount of cash taken. A 2009 Ford F150 pickup truck, dark green in colour was also stolen from the business and recovered on Middletown Line in Norwich Township, shortly after 12:00 p.m. on December 27, 2014. The vehicle had been completely destroyed by fire.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area around the time of the incident.
