On the afternoon of December 6th, police were conducting a R.I.D.E. check at the intersection of County Road 44 and River Road in the Municipality of North Grenville. A vehicle was stopped at the check point and an odour of an alcoholic beverage was detected from the driver. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to Kemptville OPP for an intoxilyzer test. Phyllis Anne Breitenstein, age 54 of North Grenville was charged with impaired driving and driving a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol. The accused is to appear in Kemptville Court On December 18th, 2013.
