(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a 50-year-old male after police were called to a Highway 6, Caledonia, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, July 30, 2016, at approximately 11:10 p.m., an alert citizen contacted police about a vehicle that was travelling northbound on Highway 6. Officers that were patrolling the area subsequently located the vehicle and stopped it.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 50-year-old Philip Andrew TESTER of Guelph, Ontario with impaired driving, driving over the legal limit, driving while disqualified and two (2) counts of driving while under suspension.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
