(NIPIGON, ON) -Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Schreiber Detachment, with the assistance of the North West Region Crime Unit have concluded a sexual assault investigation involving a victim under the age of 16. The incident was reported on January 16, 2014 and occurred between 2003 and 2005 in the Town of Terrace Bay.
On October 20, 2014 the OPP concluded the investigation and have charged a 71 year old male, Peter GROULX of Thunder Bay, Ontario with:
Three counts of Sexual Assault; and
Three counts of Sexual Interference with a person under 16 years of age contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on November 25, 2014.
