(ORILLIA, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, Technological Crime Unit and the Orillia Detachment have arrested and charged an Orillia, Ontario man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.
On March 26, 2015 police executed a search warrant at an Orillia residence. As a result of this investigation, three computers were seized which contained images of child sexual abuse.
On March 26, 2015, police arrested Nicholas Arthur ATWOOD, 36 years-old of Orillia, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Make Available Child Pornography and one count of Accessing Child Pornography. The accused will appear on April 28, 2015 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia, Ontario.
