(TRENT HILLS, ON) – On March 18, 2014 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an internet luring investigation of a 15 year old youth.
An adult male made contact with the youth via an electronic device pretending to be 17 year old boy.
Communications between the two became overly suggestive and resulted in requests for pictures. Police intervened prior to the youth meeting this male and he was subsequently arrested.
Michael WAGG, 41 years old of Beaverton Ontario is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Cobourg for a bail hearing this afternoon charged with luring a child under 18 years old for sexual purposes.
