(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On March 25, 2014 at 7:05am the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment received a report of an attempted robbery. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30am in the area of Union and Elk St., Picton.
The suspect approached the male adult victim on foot demanding his wallet. The victim was tackled to the ground by the suspect who continued to demand his wallet. The victim was able to break free from the suspect. There was no weapon involved. The victim sustained minor injuries.
Police are looking for the suspect who fled the area last seen on Elk St. The suspect is described as:
Caucasian male approximately 30-40 years of age
Facial hair, a full beard, dark in colour with a “scruffy†appearance
Wearing a multi-coloured snow suit with ski tags attached and dark tuque.
