(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) charged an Ottawa man on Friday, December 13, 2013 following an online investigation.
During the police investigation, the man communicated with an undercover police officer who was posing as an adult female. He engaged in a conversation requesting to have sexual intercourse with her and her two young children.
On December 13th, the man was arrested at a downtown hotel, where he had arranged to meet with the woman and her children.
Brendan David CLARK, 30 years old, of Ottawa was charged with:
Possession of Child Pornography X 2
Making Arrangement to Commit Sexual Offence Against a Child X3
He is scheduled to appear at court for a bail hearing on December 14, 2013.
