(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On August 2nd, 2014 at approximately 3:00 a.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police while northbound on County Road #27 observed a northbound motor vehicle exhibiting signs of impairment.
This motor vehicle was stopped and Police quickly determined that the driver of this motor vehicle was operating it while under the influence of alcohol.
A Police check of this driver also revealed that his Drivers’ Licence was under suspension.
Charged with “Impaired Operation†and “Exceed 80 mgs.†is Paul J. YANDT 27 years of age from Springwater Twp. First appearance is September 9th, 2014 in Collingwood Court. In addition Police have charged the accused with “Driving while under suspension†under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. First appearance is September 14th, 2014 in Wasaga Beach Provincial Court.
