Paul COLLEY – Impaired

(LONDON, ON) – On January 16, 2014 at approximately 9:00 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Highway 401 eastbound on ramp from Veteran’s Memorial Parkway in the City of London.

Police arrived on scene and observed a damaged vehicle in the ditch with a lone male occupant. Upon further interaction, police determined the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and brought to the London OPP detachment for further tests. The male failed to provide a breath sample for police.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged the driver, Paul COLLEY, age 42 of Ingersoll, ON with the criminal charges of care or control of a motor vehicle while impaired and fail/refuse to provide a breath sample. The driver was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act for driving while under suspension.

The accused has been released by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in a London Court on February 11, 2014 to speak to the charges.
