(HALIBURTON, ON) – On January 16, 2014 officers from the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on County Road 21 in the Township of Minden Hills, Ontario. As a result, the male driver was arrested and transported to the OPP detachment where he provided a sample of his breath. Neil MEISENHEIMER age 62 of Minden, Ontario was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100 Milliliters of Blood also referred to as “Over 80â€Â. Further to that, the accused automatically had his driving privileges suspended for a period of 90 days and his vehicle impounded for 7 days. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden Ontario on March 05, 2014.
