(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On Saturday August 31, 2013 at 7:23 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call from an off duty OPP officer with regards to a possible impaired driver travelling on Nairn Road at Centre Road, North Middlesex.
Police later conducted a traffic stop of the suspect vehicle on Elginfield Road and confirmed that driver had been drinking. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Lucan OPP Detachment for further tests.
As a result of an investigation police have charged Patti GAFFNEY-MYLES, age 55 of London, ON with the Criminal Offences including Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail to provide Breath Sample.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to appear in a London Court room on Tuesday October 8, 2013 to speak to the charges.
