On Friday September 12, 2014 in the evening hours members of the Barrie Police Service set up a RIDE Program in the area of Cundles Rd. East and Duckworth St.
Officers stopped a number of vehicles throughout the night, two 3 day suspensions where issued to drivers who registered a warning on an approved screening device.
Two male drivers registered failures on the approved screening device and were arrested for Over 80 Mgs.
As a result a 47 year old and 53 year old male were released with future court dates to answer to charges.
The males had their vehicles impounded and their driver’s licences suspended for 90 days.
